Hello TBD Team,
We are founding team at P2PX - https://www.p2px.finance/, a Decentralised Peer-to-Peer Exchange based on the TBDEX protocol. We are focused on Fiat to Crypto On-Ramps and Off-Ramps, starting with the Indian market. In India, there is a significant arbitrage in Crypto Onramp and Off-ramp trades, and we intend to create a fair P2P market with P2PX.
While regulations around Crypto are not well-formed yet in India, there is a massive push towards decentralization due to heavy taxation and government crackdown on crypto assets in the country. So, we felt encouraged upon reading the TBDEX whitepaper and launched P2PX in India.
Although P2PX is currently not a full-scale implementation of DWNs, we are starting off with the proposed protocol design pattern of the TBDEX whitepaper. We plan to fully migrate to DWNs and Smart contracts for DiD discovery and matching in our upcoming versions.
Our team has background in decentralized trust as we founded Mande Network (https://www.mande.network/) prior to P2PX, Mande blockchain features “decentralized reputation systems.”
We are excited to work alongside the TBD community to help build tools focused on expanding Web5 primarily in the Indian market and further in other developing countries.
